Where to Eat Brunch in Brickell: A Local Guide

A local guide to brunch in Brickell, with menu ideas, coffee pairings, directions and practical parking details for True Baristas.

Editorial view inspired by the Brickell skyline and streetscape in Miami

Brickell has no shortage of places to eat, but a useful brunch choice depends on the kind of morning you want. Some days call for coffee and a quick breakfast sandwich. Others need a full plate, a comfortable seat and enough time to catch up.

True Baristas serves breakfast and brunch inside Brickell Arch, with Panamanian specialty coffee at the center of the experience. This guide helps you plan a visit and choose from the menu without turning brunch into homework.

What to look for in a Brickell brunch

A strong brunch menu should work for different appetites. That means a mix of savory and sweet plates, lighter choices, substantial breakfast sandwiches and coffee that is treated as part of the meal rather than an afterthought.

Location also matters in Brickell. Clear directions, realistic parking information and current hours can be as useful as the menu itself. True Baristas is on the second-floor mezzanine at 1395 Brickell Avenue, so it helps to know the route before arriving.

Start with morning toasts

The Avocado Toast combines toasted sourdough, avocado, hard-boiled egg, cherry tomatoes, arugula, olive oil, sea salt and black pepper. The Spaniard Toast takes a different direction with melted Parmesan flakes, crushed tomato, prosciutto, olive oil and sea salt. Egg or smoked salmon can be added according to the current menu.

These are useful choices when you want brunch to feel complete without committing to the largest plate on the menu.

Breakfast sandwiches with character

The Elvis uses a New York croissant roll with two scrambled eggs, cheddar and your choice of bacon or sausage, plus side potatoes. The Dean pairs a fluffy English muffin with an over-medium egg, cheddar, sausage or bacon and a hollandaise dipping sauce.

The Bennett and The Hepburn keep things simpler: a New York croissant roll with Swiss and either smoked ham or smoked turkey. The Moe Classic brings smoked ham, two eggs and melted Havarti on brioche, while The Monroe combines egg whites, avocado, tomato and fresh spinach on a New York croissant roll.

For smoked salmon, The Bogart is a bagel with cream cheese, tomato, pickled red onion, capers and side potatoes.

When you want something sweet

French Toast Sliders arrive as three French toast-dipped brioche rolls with sausage, melted cheddar, powdered sugar, maple syrup and fresh berries. Frank French Toast uses thick-sliced brioche with vanilla cinnamon custard, powdered sugar, maple syrup and fresh berries.

The Edmond Dantès is a house recommendation inspired by a Monte Cristo: brioche with smoked ham, smoked turkey, Havarti, strawberry jam, maple syrup, powdered sugar and fresh berries. The Bananas Foster Stack offers banana-stuffed pancakes with caramelized bananas, brown sugar, cinnamon, whipped cream and maple syrup.

A classic full breakfast

The All-American brings together eggs any style, bacon, potatoes and a buttermilk pancake. It is a straightforward choice when you want savory breakfast and something sweet on the same plate. The Morning Melt and The Brando add two more substantial options, and the Sinatra Benedict covers the classic English muffin, Canadian bacon, poached egg and hollandaise combination.

Coffee belongs at the table

Brunch at True Baristas connects the food menu to our Caturra specialty coffee from Boquete, Panama. The beans are hand-picked, dried on raised beds and prepared with a roast developed exclusively for True Baristas. Choose espresso, an Americano, a milk drink or one of the house signatures to match the way you like to start the day.

How to get to the cafe

True Baristas is at 1395 Brickell Avenue, Suite 160, on the second-floor mezzanine. From the main Brickell Avenue entrance, take the escalator to the second floor, exit onto the mezzanine and walk straight to the end. From valet, take the escalator or elevator to the second floor and look for True Baristas.

Valet is the preferred parking option. The cafe can validate for two hours and the current validated charge is $10; confirm the building’s policy when you visit. The Arch Garage also has entrances from SE 13th Street and SE 14th Street, with posted rates and public parking from the fifth floor upward. There is no drive-through.

Because the indoor cafe and outdoor truck have separate schedules, check today’s hours and directions before coming. Explore the complete, searchable True Baristas menu for current prices and availability.
